The UP steam special has come nearly to a stop just prior to entering the century old tunnel under downtown Seattle. Note the Talgo train to the left and the station's iconic clock tower in the upper center. Smith Tower, seen just to the left of the clock tower, was long the tallest building to the west of the Mississippi.
