Downtown Bellevue in distance and park with lake and waterfall in foreground

The Eastside railroad passes close to downtown Bellevue, which now has the second largest urban core in the state and is the single biggest destination on the Eastside. This is a view from Bellevue's award-winning Downtown Park, with its distinctive waterfall and reflection pond. Close inspection reveals at least five construction cranes in the distance (which is only a fraction of the total number currently in operation in Bellevue). If the current pace of construction continues, Bellevue could eventually have one of the largest urban cores in the U.S. (Photo: Eastside Rail Now!)
